It was noted that the variance as approved is consistent with past actions of the Board of Adjustment and will provide the applicants with a reasonable use of their property. The proposed development is away from the lake and will not obstruct the view from the adjacent properties. After consideration and discussion and with the applicants’ verbal consent, Thomas Lee made a motion, second by David Wass and unanimously carried, to table this public hearing until the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Adjustment, which will provide the applicants with an opportunity to review the impact of the permeable pavers on the neighbor’s property, to consider reducing impervious surface coverage to 25% or less, the possibility of extending the culvert to relocate the driveway and to consider alternatives that will place the proposed garage more than 5’ from the lot line.
