The watershed area at this location is less than 300 acres, thus negating the need for a DNR permit, if the heightTestriction is met. This is still a protected watercourse. This exemption for this specific type of work DOES NOT exempt this project from any requirement Otter Tail County Land & Resource may have for a permit on this protected water. Please accept my apology for the error I made which I hope has not delayed you.too long. It is still my belief that someone other than the contractor or yourself who has design experience and is qualified should do the design work for the structure in your best interest.
