(8:30 p.m.) Tim Brown, Government Lot 2, Section 34 of Gorman Township by the Otter Tail River, requested a variance from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a 36’ by 38’ addition onto the backside of an existing 14’ by 80’ mobile home. One comer of the proposed addition is approximately 62’ from the river and the other corner of the addition is approximately 80’ from the river. The proposed addition is away from the river and towards the wetland. Chairman Mann polled the audience with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Michael Conlon made a motion, second by Steve Schiererand unanimously carried, to approve a variance from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a 36’ by 38’ addition onto the backside of an existing 14’ by 80’ mobile home as depicted on the applicant’s drawing. The Board noted that there is no other place for the proposed improvement and that the proposed addition is to the rear of the existing structure. Mary C Mahoney - Approved the variance as requested. (8:33 p.m.) Mary C, Mahoney, part of Government Lot 3 and Lot 5 Block 1, John’s Cove First Addition, Pickerel Lake in Maine Township, requested a variance to have Lot 5 Block 1, John’s Cove First Addition and part of Government Lot 3 declared a buildable lot for residential development.
