EXPLAIN YOUR REQUEST^ 1. ' Provide a reasonable access to 35 feet of the lot’s 100 foot shoreline for use as a
private recreational beach. A certain amount'of'grading/filling in the shore impact area is i ~
required — taking down humps and filUng low spots. A scale diagram (Figure 1) and
photographs of the lot, showing the area for requested topology alterations, are attached.
As part of the alterations a shoreUne rip-rap is planned to curtail the current erosion that is
taking place. See Figure 2 and photograph of the shoreline. As part of the project, sand
fill would be placed in the 35 foot area six feet adjacent to the rip-rap on the land side of
the shore. All other areas of grading/filling will be covered with sod as soon as possible
' within the allowable ten days.

2. __Construct a gravel driveway from the public road (see attached plat. Figure 1) to
the area of the house/planhed garage. This may involve bringing in more gravel than the

Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on June 19,
1996, at 7:00 P.M. in the Commissioner's Room, Court House, Fergus Falls,
Minnesota.
Roll Call;
Linda Bergerud, Les Estes, Fred Harker, Frank Lachowitzer,Members Present:
Bert Olson, Robert Ronningen, Robert Schwartz, David Trites and Leona
Zimmerman.
Members Absent: Carl Johnson.
David Hauser represented the County Attorney's Office and Bill Kalar
represented the Land £ Resource Management Office.
A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Harker toMinutes of June 5. 1996:
approve the minutes as mailed with a correction for Joel Heaerle % Taylor
Inv. Com. "Bast Indian Shores'* that Lachowitzer and Zimmerman voted no.
Voting: All members in favor.
Don & Doris Lemke - Approved:

house/planned garage. This may involve bringing in more gravel than the
allotted 10 cubic feet in 1 year. The property is described as Lot 3 Block
1 of Rainbow Point Estates of Section 7 of Rush Lake Township; Marion Lake
<56-243), GD.
Doris & Don Lemke represented the Application.
A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Trites to approve the Application as
presented with a circular driveway instead of a straight line driveway as
shown on drawing and with the condition that the 35' of shoreline that is
disturbed will be rip-rapped.
Voting: All members in favor.
