The Board also noted the following: 1.) the requested variance would not have been approved if the request would have been submitted prior to the completion of the project, 2.) there is adequate area on the applicant’s property to place the 12' by 14’ addition in a location which would not required the granting of a variance and 3.) the applicant had a reasonable use of her property before the addition was placed in the current non complying location and the applicant can obtain a reasonable use without the granting of the variance as regue^ed. The Board of Adjustment considered the following applications for variance: Patricia Anne Aron - Denied. (6:30 p.m.) Patricia Anne Aron, Lot 3 Block 1, Round Lake Hide A Way in Rush Lake Township, requested a variance of 9’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for the placement of an addition 66' from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and carried with Paul Larson voting no, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship unique to the property had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested. The Board also noted the following: 1.) the requested variance would not have been approved if the request would have been submitted prior to the completion of the project, 2.) there is adequate area on the applicant’s property to place the 12’ by 14’ addition in a location which would not required the granting of a variance and 3.) the applicant had a reasonable use of her property before the addition was placedin the current non complying location and the applicant can obtain a reasonable use without the granting of the variance as requested. After additional discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to direct that the non complying addition be brought into compliance by June 1, 2006. Mark and Polly Lange - Denied. (6:50 p.m.) Mark and Polly Lange, Lot 21 Mart Tee Beach, Blanche Lake in Everts Township, requested a variance of 4’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for the construction of a 22’ by 50’ detached garage 6’ from the lot line. Harold Digre and John Christianson represented the applicants at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Cecil Femling and carried with Randall Mann abstaining to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship unique to the property had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested and noting that there is adequate area to place a detached garage in a location that will not require the granting of a variance and would still provide the applicants with a reasonable use of their property.
