I am in the process of building a logA Conditional Use Permit Request;
home and a log garage on the above mentioned property I just purchased.My
builder will be getting the permits either late this week or early next.
What I am requesting from your department is to use the garage as my
business until I am assured that the business will remain strong after the
move. My business is electrical discharge machining. I burn small holes in
a lot of medical parts using only electricity and water. I don't use any
chemicals for cleaning parts or anything. Also I don't have any customers
visit the shop, so you wouldn't have to worry about any additional traffic
except for the UPS truck once a day. All my parts I do are shipped to me
and from me VIA UPS. I already have 1 person ready to work for me from the
area and I can see 2 to 3 more people by the end of next year I will need to
hire from the area. It won't be long before I grow out of this structure
then I will be financially stronger to build a bigger shop in town. Also my
spouse and my partner has 2 artificial legs which makes getting around
difficult. By having the shop on the property it would make things a lot
easier for her and I to get around. The property is described as Lot 15,
Block 1 of Pioneer Acres; Section 36, Rush Lake Township; Rush Lake (56-
141), GD.
Mr. & Ms. Jefferry Gaudette represented the Application.
A motion by Trites, second by Prischmann to approve provided the business
will be removed from site within 18 months of approval by the County Board
and that no employees other than Mr. & Mrs. Gaudette are employed while the
business is located onsite.
Voting; All members in favor.
Tom Hansen - Approved As Presented;
Request a Conditional Use Permit to put up a 40' x 48' steel building for
the business of storing boat lift canopies, working on equipment, repairing
boat lifts and office to take incoming calls. The property is described as
Pt SEl/4 NWl/4 (4.76 AC), Section 1, Scambler Township; Pelican Lake (56-
786), GD.
Vic Horn, President of theTodd Simison represented the Application.
Pelican Lake Association indicated that it is a necessity to have this
business on Pelican Lake.
A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Johnson to approve as presented; reason
being that it is compatible to the area and this area needs this type of
business.
Voting; All members in favor.

home with the intent of having a family get away from the rat race of everyday life.
My wife and I feel that having a business in this area would be defeating the purpose
