John Weiss, Roseville, MN, requested permission to construct two additions to exis
ting dwelling 58' x 53' from lake and 48' from marina, on Lot 3, Block 1. Blarney
Beach, Everts Township. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts,
seconded by Craig Anderson and carried, to approve because the neighbors are en
joying the same privileges, everything in the area is substandard, this lot being
one of the largest lots in the area established prior to the ordinance, all other
ordinances to be.complied with, granting the northeast corner be no closer than
58' to the water and the southeast corner no closer than 53', permission to on the
west end of the existing structui^e construct an enclosed area no larger than 12' x
20' and on the south side of the existing structure an enclosed area no larger than
20' in an east-westerly direction and T4'8" in a north-south direction.

moving all existing buildings. After discussion, motion,was made by Craig Anderson,
seconded by Tom Stringer and c?/''"ied, to approve.
Hubert E. Rantala, New York Mills, MN, requested permission to split a parcel of
2.5 acres out of the W%NW% of Section 25, Newton Township without a surveyor's drawing,
After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and
carried, to deny, no others in area have been permitted to split such a parcel without
a surveyor's drawing, no adequate hardship shown.

PROTECTIVE COVENANTS
These protective covenants are formed as a basis for the standard
regulations which shall apply in their entirety for that land which lies in
Government Lots One (1) and Two (2) in Section Thirteen (13),
Township One Hundred Thirty-five (135) North, Range Thirty-
nine (39) West and Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter (NEl/4 of NEl/4) of Section Thirteen (13), Township One
Hundred Thirty-five (135) North, Range Thirty-nine (39) West,
Otter Tail County, Minnesota, described as follows, to-wit:
Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said Section Thirteen (13);
thence running on an assumed bearing due South, along the East
section line thereof, a distance of 2, 567 feet; thence North 85
degrees 08 minutes West a distance of 733. 5 feet to the point of
beginning; thence North 85 degrees 08 minutes West a distance -
of 602 feet; thence South 4 degrees 08 minutes East a distance of
100.8 feet to the water’s edge of Rush Lake; thence Easterly along
said lake a distance of 602 feet; thence North 2 degrees 52 minutes East
a distance of 100 feet to the point of beginning.
RESIDENTIAL AREA COVENANTS
I. No parcel of land shall be used except for summer home purposes or
residential purposes.

one foot below ground level; however, any cesspool shall not be constructed within

5. Each owmer of any parcel of land on the real estate hereinbefore described
hereafter shall be liable on a percentage basis for the road maintenance on said road
which abutts the Northerly most boundary line on these parcels of land as figured on a
formula of total length of the road times the footage of each parcel or lot owner times
the cost of road maintenance and each land owner sha-11 pay this amout to Waino F.
Paavola and Mary Ann Paavola or their heirs, successors, and assigns within thirty
(30) days after receiving a bill for said road maintenance. Such billing shall constitute
