addition to the existing cabin and a variance of 2'8" from the required road right-of way
setbxk of 20 for the relocation of the existing garage.
In order to properly evaluate the situation, please provide as much supplementary information as possible, such as: maps, plans,
information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING.
I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail
County. I understand I must contact my township in order to determine whether or not any additional variance and/or permits
are required by the township for my proposed project.

Motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Bert Olson and unanimously carried, to approve
a variance of 1 O' 1 ” from the required road right- of-way setback of 20' for an addition to the
existing cabin and a variance of 2'8" from the required road right-of-way setback of 20' for the
placement of an existing garage. Hardship being the depth of the lot.

The Otter Tall County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, July 2nd, 1992 with the following
persons in attendance;

CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman George Walter.I!i
MINUTES APPROVED-June 11th, 1992
Hearing no corrections or additions the minutes of the June 11th, 1992 meeting were declared
approved as mailed.i!1The following variance requests were heard:iNorbert L. Ewals - Approved
Herbert L, Ewals, Dent, MN, requested a variance of 2' from the required side lot line setback of
10' for the addition of a 7' by 30' woodshed to an existing garage. The property is described as
Lot 1 of Fawn Oaks Development, Big McDonald Lake in Edna Township. The audience was polled
with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil
Femling, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a 2' variance from the
required side lot line setback for the addition of a T by 30' woodshed to an existing garage. The
addition will be no closer to the lot line than the existing structure and the addition is not
advancing towards the lake.

Loretta Mae Milander, Watertown, MN, requested a variance of 1 O' 1" from the required road right-of-way setback of 20' for an addition to the existing cabin and a variance of 2'8" from the
required road right-of way setback of 20' for the relocation of the existing garage. The
property is described as Lot 6 and adj. 30' of Lot 7, Klien's Beach, Marion Lake in Rush Lake
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After
consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Bert Olson and unanimously
carried, to approve a variance of 1 O' 1" from the required road right- of-way setback of 20'
for an addition to the existing cabin and a variance of 2'8" from the required road right-of-way
setback of 20' for the placement of an existing garage. Hardship being the depth of the lot. The
maintenance of the septic system will not be a problem.
