MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
Hotion was Made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to
approve a variance of 18' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75' for
the construction of an 8' by 14' addition to an existing cabin 57' from the ordinary high
level. It was noted that the addition will be no closer to the ordinary high water
level or the lot line than the existing structure.

Gary Charleston - Approved
Gary Charleston, Lehigh Acres, FL, requested a variance of 2.5* iso:',-, tlje required side lot
line setback oi 10’ and a variance ol IS’ from the required road right-of-way setback of
20’ for the construction of a 22’ by 24’ garage 7.5’ from the side lot line and 2’ from
the road right-of-way and a variance of 2' from the required lot line setback of 10’ for
the placement of a septic tank S’ froin the back lot line. The property is described as
Lot S, Block 1, Crystal Kills 4th Addition, Crystal Lake in Lida Township. The audience
was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion
was made by George Walter, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Jo)in Everts and
Leslie Estes voting no, to allow the construction of a 16’ by 22’ or 24’ attached garage,
extending 16’ towards the road from the south side of the existing dwelling, and a
variance of 2’ 6* from the required east side lot line setback of 10’ with the main garage
door(s) on the west side of the structure at a right angle to the road. After additional
discussion and consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Randall Jiann
and carried with John Everts voting no, to grant a 5’ variance from the required septic
tank setback of 10’ for the placement of the 16’ by 22’ garage 5’ from the septic tank.
Terry Steven Paulson - Approved
Terry Steven Paulson, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of IS' from the required ordinary
high water level setback of 75’ for the construction of an S’ by 14’ addition to an
existing cabin 57’ from the ordinary high water level. The property is described as Lot
9, Jerry’s Breezy Beach, Rush Lake in Rush Lake Township. The audience was polled with no
one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of IS’
from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for the construction of an S’
by 14’ addition to an existing cabin 57’ from the ordinary high water level. It was noted
that the addition will be no closer to the ordinary high water level or the lot line than
the existing structure.
Walter Grigas - Approved
Walter Grigas, Battle Lake, KK, requested a variance of 4.5’ from the required side lot
line setback of 10’ for the addition of a chimney 5.5’ from the side lot line. The
property is described as tlie East 1/2 ol Lot 6, Segar Beach, Otter Tail Lake in Everts
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After
consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously
carried, to approve a variance of 4.5’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ for
the addition of a chimney 5.5’ from the side lot line. It was noted that the chimney will
be no closer to the lot line than the existing garage and the addition will not be view
obstructing. Hardship■being a grossly substandard lot of record.
