It was also noted that the cabin would be placed in the same location but perhaps raised 1 or 2’. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration and discussion, motion was made oy Cecil Femling, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 139’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ and a variance of 39’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 100’ for the placement of a 9’ by 24’ addition on the west side of an existing dwelling 61' from the ordinary high water level. (6:56 p.m.) Estate of Arthur L. Christianson, C/0 Sandra L. Elton, Fargo, ND, requested a variance to split Lot 1, Block 1 of Stony Bar Estates into two pieces, attaching the easterly portion of Lot 1, Block 1 to Lot 27, Block 1, resulting in a single lot with one building site on Lot 27. The westerly portion of Lot 1, Block 1, will be approximately 105 feet in width, and will be attached to either Lot 2, Block 1 or to Lot 26, Block 1. If attached to Lot 2, Block 1, the combinec property would be suitable for one single-family residence. If the westerly portion of Lot 1, Block 1, were attached to Lot 26, Block 1, the combined property would be suitable for one residence. The approximate location of the dividing line is shown on the applicant’s drawing. Lots 26 and 27 are currently in separate ownership, and Lots 1, 2, 26 and 27 are all currently separate buildable lots. The net result of granting the variance will be to eliminate one of these building sites. A surveyor’s drawing will be provided at the time of recording. Chairman Walter cpened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no ob­ jections or corrections to the minutes of the meeting of November 7th, declared same approved as mailed. 11 present inutes approved The following applications for variance were considered: Delford S'Joanne'Becke, Fergus Falls, MN, represented by Richard Nitz, Attorney, requested permission to sell and convey by metes and bounds descriptions, back lots to increase the size of adjacent platted lots, and also to sell a portion of Lot 6 VJilliam Reese's Lakeshore, to the owner of the of lot 7, William Reese's lakeshore. Rush Lake Township. It was determined permission to convey back lots for attachment to adjacent platted lots in this instance was not necessary, ard after consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to grant the division of Lot 6, '.'Jn. Reese's Lakeshore with the easterly 25' being attached to the of lot 7 and the balance of lot 6 become permanently attached to Lot 5, resulting in Lot 6 being dissolved. The notion was seconded by Roger Marty and carried unanimously. Howard Manteuffel, Ottertail, MN, requested permission to add a second story and increase dimensions by 4' x 14' on a former bait and fish cleaning house, and replace an existing 16' x 20' cabin with a 22' x 28' cabin at same location as existing cabin, on G.L. 2, (Limmer's Resort) Section 26, Rush Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Creiig Anderson to approve second story addition to bait house. The motion was seconded by Marcus Niechmann and carried unanimously. Motion was made by Craig Anderson to grant variance to replace existing cabin, no closer to la)ce than existing cabin, subject to elimination of campsite #12, reason being, to stay in business he must upgrade the facilities. After considera­ tion, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Itoger Marty and unani­ mously carried, to grant approval, no closer to lake than existing struc­ ture, hardship being a lot of record, with no precedence being set, and right to enjoy the same rights and privileges as neighbors enjoy. Richard W. Sturlaugson, Langdon, ND, requests permission to allow cabin to remain on present location, 4b' from one comer to lot line, 6' from comer to other lot line, on Sublot C of G.L. 3, Section 10, Dunn Town­ ship.
