Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to approve a variant®
to subdivide a parcel of less than 2.5 acres from an existing 2.6 acre parcel, as presented on the applicant's
drawing, with the condition that a registered surveyor's drawing and a letter stating that there are no property
line disputes will be provided at the time of recording. It should be noted that each parcel will substantially
meet the minimum lot area and lot width requirements for platted lots on a general development lake.

Roger W. Karger, Ottertail, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a parcel of less than 2.5 acres from an
existing 2.6 acre parcel. The property is described as part of Government Lot 4. Section 36 of Rush Lake
Township on Rush/Buchanan Lakes. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request.
After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to
approve a variance to subdivide a parcel of less than 2.5 acres from an existing 2.6 acre parcel, as presented
on the applicant's drawing, with the condition that a registered surveyor's drawing and a letter stating that
there are no property line disputes will be provided at the time of recording. It should be noted that each
parcel will substantially meet the minimum lot area and lot width requirements for platted lots on a general

Ragina F. Jacobs - Approved
Ragina F. Jacobs. Minneapolis, MN, requested a variance of 9' from the required side lot line setback of 1 O', a
variance of 45' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75' and a variance of 7.5' from the
required shore impact zone setback of 37.5' for the replacement of an existing garage with a new garage 1'
from the side lot line and 30' from the ordinary high water level. The new garage will be no closer to the side
lot line or the ordinary high water level than the existing garage. The property is described as part of
Government Lot 1, Section 26 of Rush Lake Township on Rush Lake. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson, seconded by Craig
Anderson and unanimously carriaJ, to approve the replacement of an existing garage 2‘ from the side lot line and being no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing dwelling. A variance of 8' from the '
required side lot line setback of 10' for a setback of 2'. Hardship being a substandard lot of record.
William and Aldie Kelsven - Approved
William and Aldie Kelsven, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 6' from the required side lot line setback of 10'
and a variance of 6' from the required holding tank setback of 10' for the construction of a 20' by 26' garage 4'
from the side lot line and 4' from the holding tank. The property is described as Lot 14. Second Addition to
Broadwater Beach, Pelican Lake in Dunn Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against
the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Craig Anderson and
unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 6* from the required holding tank setback of 10' for the
construction of a 20' by 26' garage 4’ from the holding tank and being at least 10' from the side lot line. The
applicant stated that the existing shed would be removed. It should be noted that no side lot line variance was
grantedr Hardship being a substandard lot of record.
