Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on August 3, 1983 at
7:30 P.M. in the Government Services Building, 505 South Court Street, Fergus Falls,
Minnesota 56537.
Members present were:Portmann, Trites, Sullivan, Lachowitzer, Ryan, Schwartz
and Lee. Waldemar Senyk also present.
Passed;______ A motion by Portmann, second by Lee to approve the minutes of the
August 3, 1983 meeting as mailed.
Voting: All members in favor.
William Barnick from Pochontas Resort on Dead Lake met with the Planning Commission
regarding adding additional campsites to his resort which is currently licensed for
4 campsites. No formal action but he was advised to apply for a variance.for 20 sites.
Passed: A motion by Portmann, second by Lachowitzer to approve the request
to cut per application of May 25, 1982, and allow to build road
subject to writ|ten agreement of Otteson heirs submitted to Land &
Resource Management office, for Richard Lackmann on Little Pelican
Lake, No. 56-761, Sec, 2 of Dunn Twp., pt. of G.L. 10. ex Maple
Lane Beach.

A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Sullivan to approve the special use
application of Ted Bergeron, dated June 26, 1983 on Rush Lake, No. 56-141,
GD, Sec. 27 of Rush Lake Twp. with restriction of limit of 6 cars on
north 100 feet of property and no junkers and no test driving on service
road.//
Voting: All members in favor, except Lee.
A motion by Sullivan,\ second by Trites to approve the special use
application of Jim Henkes, dated July 7, 1983 on Ten Mile Lake, No. 56-613,
RD, Sec. 27 of Tumuli T'wp. , Lots 73, 74, 75 and 76 of Sater Humphrey
Ranch Camp. Dale Jakela\spoke to the Commission.
Voting: All members in favor.
Passed: A motion by Portmann, second by Lee to approve the preliminary plat plans
of SSS Estates and the special use application of James Swedback, dated
July 11, 1983 on Heilberger Lake, No. 56-695, RD, Sec. 10 of Friberg Twp.
provided Block 1 be divided into 3 lots of approximate equal size and
equal lakeshore and when road is built no fill to be placed in the pond.
