The Board noted that the property has access to a public road and that the granting of this request is consistent with past actions of the Board in thisjmmediate area. (6:32 p.m.) ’"Alfred Alberts, part of Government Lot 4, Section 27 of Rush Lake Township by Round and Rush Lakes, requested a variance to subdivide a 1.22 acre parcel, by metes and bounds description, from an existing 23.85 acre parcel. The minimum size required for new metes and bounds subdivisions within the shoreland area is 5 acres. Chairman Mann polled the audience with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. (6:39 p.m.) Loren L and Phyllis J Olstad, Lot 4 Block 1, Squires Addition, Rush Lake in Rush Lake Township, requested a variance to have substandard back lot (Lot 4 Block 1 Squires Addition) declared a buildable lot for residential development. Chairman Mann polled the audience with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, seconded by Joe Maske and unanimously carried, to approve Lot 4 Block 1, Squires Addition as a buildable lot for residential development/purposes. The variance as granted will provide the applicants with the ability to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in this immediate area.
