Motion was made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Bert Hovland and unanirrously
carried, to uphold the decision of the Otter Tail County Planning COmni.ssion
and deny the a~lication of C. t,. Anderson to fill a lO'N axea on tot 8,

M:>tion was Illclde by Bert Hovland, seconded by Andy Lin~uist and carried
with Hub Nordgren voting "no", to uphold the decision of the Otter Tail
County Planning Conmission and deny the application of Anthony Ludovissie
for pennission to constnict a boat ramp on the S 75' of N 755' of Lot 2,
Section 23, Rush Lake Township.
Motion was Illclde by Bert Hovland, seconded by Mel O. Olson and unanirrously
carried, to accept the recorrrrendation of the Otter Tail County Planning
cornnission and deny the request fran Karl Hanson, Jr., to fill low area
behind ice ridge on Lot 2, Sherbrooke Estates, Lida ToWnship.
t-t:>tion was made by Bert Hovland, seconded by Mel O. Olson and unanirrously
carried, to accept a petition from the Lake Lizzie Association to have
Lake Lizzie placed on the priority list for inspection of sewage systems.
Motion was made by Andy LindJuist, seconded by Melo. Olson and unani-
nously carried, to accept the recornrendation of the Otter Tail County •
Planning Comnissiort that a te:cmination date of 9-1-85 be placed on the
oonditional use permit of William True, dated August 25, 1980, due to
change in ordinance that no longer allows for open ended permits.
'!he Illcltter of acceptance of bids received for the transfer stations
opened August 2nd was brought up for consideration. M:>tion was nade ·
by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Mel O. Olson and carried with Bert 1-bvland
voting "no", to table action on said bids until August 21st.

t,anbers of the Becker County Board of Conmissioners appeared before the
Board along with the Becker County Solid Waste officer relative to
Becker County's participation and/or acceptance of the solid waste agree-
rrent. No formal action taken.
D::>uglas Ackling, Perham, appeared before the Board together with Mary Lu
Est lick of Autumn Agency, Inc. , Pe~ham with a proposal for the sale of .
the Adding Building in Perham, now being occupied by several Otter Tail
County offices, for a total list price of $270,000, including furniture
and accessories in the court room and judge's chamber. Chainran Nordgren
appointed Sydney Nelson, Mal O. Olson, Eugene Davenport and Mike Kirk
to a comnittee to explore the Illcltter and make recamendations to the Board

carried, the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Ccmnissione.rs of Otter Tail County Minneso-
ta, that
WHEREAS, on July 10, 1984, the County Board accepted the bid of Stran.seth
Construction, Watertown, SE in the arrount of $261,252.35 for grading and
aggregate surfacing on C.R. #124 between CSAH #33 and CSAH #35,_ and
WHERFAS, the above contract has now been completed to the satisfaction of
the county board at . total cost of $272,006.57, an increase of $10,754.22
due to overruns 011 .,':)gregate surfacing and equiprrent rental hours,
NOd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Board does hereby authorize
and direct the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the anount of
$13,600.33 payable to StrOITSeth Construction as final payment for this
\\Ork.
Adopted at Fergus Falls, MN this 12th day of August, 1985
