Explain your request:
We own 2 adjacent parcels of land on Round Lake that we purchased in 1988.
Lot "A" has a home on it and Lot "B" is vacant. When we purchased the property
in 1988, we understand that they were two separate lots, and the realtor informer
us that we could buy both lots and then sell one. Based upon that representation,
we purchased the property. Lot "A" was conveyed in 1965 as a separate parcel of
land, and Lot "B" was conveyed in 1966 as a separate parcel of land. Otter Tail
County identified the parcels as numbers 1331 and 133L until 1971 when they
combined the parcels, and identified them by one property identification number.
Both lots were sold in 1974 using separate legal descriptions, and were sold in
1978 using separate legal descriptions. When we purchased the lots in 1988,
separate legal descriptions were used.
Both lots have 100 feet of lakeshore frontage on Round Lake, and then taper
slightly to the east, so that the back line of each lot is 80 feet in width.
We have applied for and received from Otter Tail County Shoreland Management, a
building permit for Lot "B" dated July 23, 1990, allowing us to construct a
new home on Lot "B".

information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICIANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING.
I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail County.
I understand I must contact my township in order to determine whether or not any additional variances and/or permits are required
by the township for my proposed project.
