LADDY L. CUSICK - APPROVED
Laddy L. Cusick,, Perham, MN, requested a variance to construct a 20' by 27,5' attached garage
to the existing home with a 9' setback from the road right-of-way instead of the required 20'
setback from the road rlght-of -way. The property is described as a Tract in Government Lot 1
called Lot 2 and the E1 /2 of Lot T, St. Lawrence Beach, Rush Lake in Rush Lake Township.
Letters In favor of this variance request were received from the following individuals: Helen
Boedigheirner, Harry and Ethelyn Moe, and Ned and Betty Lather. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Victor
Petterson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a 9' setback from the
road right-of way instead of the required 20' setback. Hardship being a substandard lot of
record and the granting of this variance will allow the applicant to enjoy the same rights and
privileges of others in this area.

to create two parcels each with 150' of lake frontage. J.he audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against this request. As neither the applicant or his representative were able to
attend this meeting a motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and
unanim“ously carried, to table this variance request until the November meeting.:•!

WILBERT LENZEN - APPROVED
Wilbert Lenzen, Chaska, MN, requested a variance to construct a 6' by 26' addition to the
existing cabin 30' from the shoreline, A Varlance^Of 45'-from the required 75' setback, The
property is described as Lot 1, Kllen's Beach and adjacent lot, Marlon Lake in Rush Lake
Township. A letter from Steven Erie in favor of this variance request was read for the record.
The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration ,
motion was made_by Cecil Femling, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to
approve the construction of the addition 30' from the shoreline by granting a 45' variance.
Hardship being a substandard lot of record. The additionwill be no closer to the lake than the
existing structure.

Wallace and Ina Powers, Plymouth, MN, requested a variance to split off aparcel of less than
2.5 acres from the original farmsite. The Property is described as Government Lot 3 and the
•SW1 /4NW1 /4 south of township road, except tracts. Section 15 of Eagle Lake Township. The
audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration,
motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to
approve a split from the existing parcel of less than 2.5 acres with the following conditions: A
surveyor’s drawing must be provided of the new parcel, the 50’ by 150' parcel on the north
side of the road must be attached to the newly created parcel and ownership of the 50’ by 150'
parcel must be establishod. ...
