Cusick, Perham, MN, requested a variance to construct a 20' by 27.5' attached garage to the existing home with a 9' setback from the road right-of-way instead of the required 20' setback from the road right-of -way. The property is described as a Tract in Government-Lot 1 called Lot 2 and the E1/2 of Lot 1,5t. Lawrence Beach, Rush Lake in Rush Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Cecil Femllng and unanimously carried, to approve a 9' setback from the road right-of way instead of the required 20' setback. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request, As neither the applicant or his representative were able to attend this meeting a motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to table this variance request until the November meeting. ri I LBERT LENZEN-- APPROVED '1 Wilbert Lenzen, Chaska, MN, requesteda variance to construct a 6' by 26' addition to the existing cabin 30' from the shoreline. A letter from Steven Erie in favor of this variance request was read for the record. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against this request. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femllng, seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to approve the construction of the addition 30' from the shoreline by granting a 45' varlance.- Hardshlp being a substandard lot of record. The addition will be no closer to the lake than the existing structure. ;■! ,■! After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a split from the existing parcel of less than 2.5 acres with the following conditions; A surveyor's drawing must be provided of the new parcel, the 50' by 1 50' parcel on the north side of the road must be attached to the newly created parcel and ownership of the 50' by 150' parcel must be established. !
