Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Consnission was held on August 16, 1978
at 7:30 P.M. in the Court House, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537.
Members present were: Beck, Portmann, Davis, Estes, Ryan, Jacobson, Lachowitzer,
Lindquist and Lee. Joe Cade also present.
A motion by Lindquist, second by Jacobson to approve the minutes of
the August 2, 1978 meeting as mailed.
Passed;
Voting; All members in favor.
Passed;A motion by Davis, second by Lindquist to approve the special use
application of Llvjellyn.Gutzmer, dated July 19, 1978 on East Battle
Lake, No. 56-138, RD, Sec. 24 of Girard Twp. Darrell Richter spoke
£io the commission.
Voting; All members in favor.
Passed;A motion by Estes, second by Davis to approve the special use
application of Cousins Sons, Inc., dated July 21, 1978 on Big
Pine Lake, No. 56-130, GD, Sec. 7 of Pine Lake Twp. subject to a
75 foot cul-de-sac.
Voting; All members in favor except Lachowitzer.
Passed;A motion by Davis, second by Lee to approve the special use
application of Robert Lucas, dated July 24, 1978 on Silver Lake,
No. 56-302, RD, Sec. 28 of Everts Twp. subject to on-site inspection
by Lindquist and Jacobson. Approved to cut 2 feet maximum on crest
of hill and maximum of 2 feet of fill in low area. Fill shall not
exceed the elevation of the ice ridge. John Mullin spoke to the
commission.
Voting; All members in favor except Beck and Portmann.
Passed;A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Portmann to approve the special use
application of Donald D. Busker, dated July 18, 1978 on Ma£ion Lake,
No. 56-243, RD, Sec. 6 of Rush Lake Twp. to fill a maximum of 3 feet.
Fill area not to extend more than 85 feet from east lot line. Slope
3:1 west of fill area.
Voting; All members in favor.
Passed;A motion by Lindquist, second by Jacobson to adjourn the meeting at
9;30 P.M. and to set Wednesday, September 6, 1978 as the date for the
next regular meeting of the Planning Commission.
