Explain your request: Egeness currently owns a tract approximately 230.54 feet long on
Marion Lake. Larson currently owns a tract approximately 85.00 feet long on
Marion Lake, together with a 200.01 foot by 71 foot tract which lies directly
behind the Egeness tract and between the Egeness tract and the public road.
Egeness is requesting a variance to allow conveyance of a triangular tract
with 15 feet of lake shore to Larson in exchange for a portion of the Larson
tract behind the Egeness tract. Attached is a copy of a Certificate of Survey
by Roy Smith showing the original Larson and Egeness tracts as well as the
tracts to be exchanged. The parties believe that the exchange will create
better lake shore tracts for each of them and should be allowed.
