Richard Ouren - Approve the requested variance with a modification. (6:52 p.m.)
After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously
carried, to approve, if needed, a variance of 50’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the
placement of a dwelling 50’ from the ordinary high water level. It should be noted that the variance as approved will
keep the proposed development out of the shore impact zone, will placed the proposed structure within the general
building line and will provide the applicant with a reasonable use of his property. It should also be noted that the
variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed development.
