Dear Mrs. Bowman,
I am writing this letter in reference to Conditional Use Permit #6638 - Timothy Alan Bigelow. This
permit is to build a retaining wall on my shore on Jewett Lake. In front of the wall we are going to
establish 5 feet of riprap protection to protect the wall.
Due to delays in the construction crew availability for the rip-rap job, I would like a modification on the
expiration date of the conditional use permit. I would like to do the project in two phases, first in the
month of October 2011,1 would like to put the rip-rap protection in place and leave just the rip-rap for
the winter so that the shoreline is protected. Then in the spring of 2012, (May and June) I am going to
add the retaining wall on the back side of the rip-rap and place the fill and vegetation to protect against
any erosion. This will allow the vegetation to establish itself during the top growing months.
