Pelican Rapids, MN, requested a variance of 71 feet from Kempfer Lake, in the S>sNW>s of Section 4, Friberg Township, to place a 30' trailer. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling to grant, hardship being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as the neighbors enjoy. The motion was seconded by Carl Johnson and carried unanimously. ROBB MILLER APPROVED John D. Fredricksen, Lino Lakes, MN, requested permission to place an 8' X 8' shed 30 feet from high water mark on Lot 9, Block 1 , Pleasant Places, Sverdrup Township on Pleasant Lake. Appearing and speaking was Susan Groff, with a letter from Janelle Goth being read. Motion was made by Daniel Oehler, seconded by John Everts and carried, to table until the September meeting. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unanimously. Jess Thompson, Ottertail , MN, represented by Clem .Hendrickson, regis­ tered land surveyor, requested a variance on one lot on a proposed plat of Belle Acres 2nd Addition, to be located in Section 31, Otto, Township, allowing 99.37' instead of the required 100' on Lot 3. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, hardship being an attempt to disburse a resort, eliminating one cabin, resulting in an improvement. The motion was seconded by Cecil Femling and carried unanimously. JOHN D. FREDRICKSEN TABLED MARK BAKER DENIED Mark was represented by Kenneth Baker. After consideration. JESS THOMPSON APPROVEO John C. MacFarlane, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct a two-car garage varying from the 20' road set-back, on G.L. 5, Section 30, Dane Prairie Township on Swan Lake. After consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling to approve, hardship being terrain and location of drainfield, and a substandard lot of record. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Daniel Oehler abstaining because of business interest. JOHN C. MacFARLANE APPROVED GEORGE P. BERGEN APPROVED George P. Bergem, Underwood, MN, requested permission to construct dwelling 125 feet from high water mark, on G.L. 5, Section 4, Sverdup Township on Lake Anna. Pete Peterson appeared arid s'poke on behalf of the Bergems. After consideration, motion was made by Carl JOhnson to grant the requested 75' variance, hardship being the high point of property and the most appropriate site, being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as the neighbors enjoy, on the condition there be no other dwelling on the property. Harold Erickson, Wyoming, MN, requested permission to place a well house 34' from lake, on Lots 38 & 39, Bengston North Shore Park, in Section 25, Clitherall Township on Crane Lake, motion was made by John Everts to approve, no precedence set, be^ng able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others enjoy, with the building line well past this location. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unanimously. The Donna Anderson variance returned at the request of the County Board and tabled at the July meeting was again brought up for discussion. Motion was made by Craig Anderson to allow placement of the new mobile home no closer to the lake than the replaced mobile home. The motion was seconded by Carl Johnson and withdrawn prior to vote. Attorney, who indicated Minnesota Statute does not allow other action once a decision has been made.
