Explain your problem here: are in the process of buying the above property. However
the septic and drainfield are too small and in the wrong place to qualify for
a certificate of compliancy. In order to bring the property up to code we are
requesting a variance of the set-back regulations from the property line in the southeast corner of the lot.
Enclosed is a drawing showing the buildings, the lake, the township road,
and the neighbors wells and septic systems. We would like to put the drain
field and septic tank somewhere in the proposed area. We do not know the exact
size and location because a perk test cannot be done until the frost is out.
The proposed well will be in contract with the neighbor and over 50 feet
We plan to have PJ Excavating do the work as soon as we have permission and
the frost is out of the ground.
Also enclosed is a letter from the Elizabeth township and as much information
as possible from the Shoreline Management files concerning the surrounding property.
We do not believe this variance will jeopardize the lake of the surrounding
wells in any way. On the other hand we believe this variance will maintain, if
not benifit, the value of the property.
