In the past I have had a problem with people boating up to shore and having big beer keg parties, leaving liter and destro/ing my trees a'''d propert.7. To solve this problem, I have allowed Bob Faulkner and Lorin Hansen to occupy a trailer house on the corner of this ^ mile of lake shore to keep parties off the shore, Lorin Hansen parked a 32 foot self contained camper near the trailer house, I am not reciiving any rent or- money from this arrangement. Now the problem: The Department of Land & Resource Management is following the ordinance that declares this situation as two dwellings on one lot - which is a violation. The puropse of this ordinance, as it was explained to us, is to keep from over crowding a lot. They suggest I plot this property into lots to accomodate this camper, will not plot this ^mile of property into lots.I am asking for a variance in this case. I That does not serve my objedtives of conservation. However, I would ask you to make an exception to allow this 32 foot self contained camper to remain oc ny ^ mile of land next to Jewett Lake, of protecting and conserving my trees and property, both our objectives to protect this lake shore from being destroyed. I believe this is the most effective method In fact, I believe this will best serve Please grant this variance.
