After consideration and discussion, Michael Donoho made a motion, seconded by Darren Newville and unanimously carried by roll call
vote to approve the variance to replace the roof on the existing dwelling and attached garage and add an addition behind (roadside) the
existing dwelling. This decision is also based on the Findings of Fact and Decision Form, which contains the criteria reviewed and the
Board’s finding have been attached to and incorporated as an official part of the minutes which have been placed on file with the Land
& Resource Management Department. The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for future
development.

Kurt J. & Susan L. Robak Liv Tst, Lot 11 - Northview, Deer Lake (56-298) in Everts Township requested the following: We are
wanting to add a 14’xl6’ addition to our family room and a 16’xl6’ addition to our bedroom. The additions fail the string line test for
the neighbor’s house to the east. The attached survey shows the proposed additions and the current string line set back. The survey
also shows a possible string line had the neighbors built their house to their allowed setback from the lake. Our proposed additions do
not fail the string test at the possible string line and no variance application would be required. Included in this application is a letter
from our neighbors to the east stating that they are not opposed to our proposed plans. The addition will on the roadside of the
dwelling & approx. 75’ from the lake. The required setback is 100’.
Susan Robak, property owner represented the variance application via GoToMeeting. The audience was polled with no one speaking
for or against the variance application.
After consideration and discussion, Terry Marthaler made a motion, seconded by Douglas Larson and unanimously carried by roll call
vote to approve the variance application to construct a 14’xl6’ addition and a 16’xl6’ addition to our existing dwelling being 75’ from
the ordinary high water level. This decision is also based on the Findings of Fact and Decision Form, which contains the criteria
reviewed and the Board’s finding have been attached to and incorporated as an official part of the minutes which have been placed on
file with the Land & Resource Management Department. Kyle Westergard met with Contractor Dave Erwin onsite and noted that the
14’xl6’ addition will be 13’xl6’ addition and the roofline will be no higher than the existing roofline and will most likely be shorter
than the existing roofline. The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for future development.

Has/have made application to the Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment for a variance as per
requirements of the Otter Tail County Shoreland Management Ordinance, the Otter Tail County Set Back
Ordinance, the Subdivision Controls Ordinance of Otter Tail County, Otter Tail County Sanitation Code
and/or the-Wind-Energy-Conversion,System Ordinance of Otter Tail County. The Otter Tail County Board
