Requesting a varianee for an addition (bedroom) to existing eabin on location that was approved by variance June 11, 1998.
Proposed 12.0 ft. x 23.5 ft. addition is approximately 52.0 ft. setback from lakefront highwater mark and approximately 7.0 ft.
from North lot line. The requested variance is approximately 23.0 ft. from the ordinary high water level setback of 75.0 ft. and
approximately 3.0 ft. from the ordinary 10.0 ft. lot line setback.
The proposed addition would be attached to existing cabin at the furthest point from lakefront highwater mark and on line with the
existing structure as it relates to the North lot line. A hardship is created by a substandard lot and the inability to construct the
proposed addition within the newest setback parameters of 75.0 ft. from the highwater mark and 10.0 ft. from lot line due to
existing structures.

MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE/SUBDIVISION CONTROLS ORDINANCE OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY.

Motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Joe Maske and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 3’ from
the required side lot line setback of 10', a variance of 23’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 75’ for
a 12’ by 23.5’ addition 52’ from the ordinary high water level and 7’ from the lot line with the condition that before a site
permit can be issued the existing 8.5’ by 10.5’ storage shed must be either removed or placed in a location that
complies with all of the setback requirements.
