Request a variance to combine parcel C with Lot 13 of Kaplers First Addition to make a _ ,substandard lot less substandard. The newly created parcel would have 80' of lake frontage ^. E C S S V 'ii
and the required lake frontage for this lake would be 100'. The applicant Is also requesting
that this be considered a bulldable lot and request permission to build a house with a walkout
basement In the bluff zone.

I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tall
County. I understand I must contact my township in order to determine whether or not any additional variance and/or permits
are required by the township for my proposed project.

MOTION AS FOLLOW^:
Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to
approve the combination of parcel C and Lot 13 of Kaplers First Addition . Motion was made by
Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and unanimously carried, to table the portion of this
variance request that would allow the construction of a house with a walk out basement In the
bluff zone until the structure is staked out on the property and a plan submitted for review by
the board members.
Motion was made by Bert Olson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carrial, to deny the
applicant's request to build within the bluff Impact zone as there Is a bulldable site on this lot
that would not be within a sensitive area,
