SPECIFY VARIANCE REQUESTED
We own the above described tract, which has the parcel number set forth above,
and we are requesting a vriance to permit the sale and separation of the above
described tract, which is more than 4.08 acres, from the tract we own in Gov't.
Lot 1, Section 17, T136, R38 which is described on the attached Exhibit B and
which has Parcel #R52000170112015. As a condition of the variance, we would
agree that the remaining tract in Section 17 will be permanently attached to
the adjacent tract owned by Alta Mandt and described as the Si of SEj of NEj
of Section 18, T136, R38. A copy of the surveyor's drawing of said tract is
attached.
I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE APPLIED FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE SHORELAND
MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE/SUBDIVISION CONTROLS ORDINANCE OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY.
I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PERMITS MAY BE REQUIRED, IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO
CONTACT LAND & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT REGARDING THIS MATTER.

April 3, 2003 Meeting -The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration
motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, per the written request of the’
applicants, to table the applicants’ variance hearing until the May 1, 2003 meeting of the Board of Adjustment. April
10, 2003 Meeting - After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Cecil Femling, second by Steve Schierer
and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing
must be provided at the time of conveyance. It was noted that the granting of this variance would eliminate
parcel.one
