Ordean Huus expressed concerns as to just where this proposed plat is located; Arlan Sletten indicated that he does not wish to see the wetlands developed; Dick Abramson expressed concerns regarding the wetlands (the area is very wet) and also indicated that over the last couple of years there has been a considerable change in the shoreline (loss of vegetation) and was concerned platting this area would increase this change even more and requested a denial; Verlin Menze (Chairman, Aurdal Townboard) indicated that he would be available to answer any questions that the Planning Commission may have of the Township and also indicated that the 3 major issues discussed (wetlands, drainage & possible locations of approaches) are sufficient grounds to deny the request. Motion;A motion by Zimmerman, second by Trites to deny, reasons as follows: 1. Marginal building sites. 2. The wetlands onsite appear to be larger than shown on the preliminary plat map. 3. There does not appear to be sufficient area/elevation for the installation of onsite wells and/or sewage systems, drainage culvert should be left open. 5. Access to Old Hwy 210 is questionable. 6. This is not the best use of the land. 4. The Voting;All members in favor, except Estes and Johnson.
