Perham Cooperative Creamery Association - Approved
Perham Cooperative Creamery Association, Perham, MN, requested a variance to subdivide a tract less than
2.5 acres without a plat. The proposed tract adjoins a platted public road and contains an existing commercial
building. If approved the tract to be subdivided will be surveyed. The proposed tract will be approximately
one-half acre. The property is described as part of Lot 1, Oasis Acres in Perham Township. The audience
was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall
Mann, second by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as requested noting that
this is a commercially developed area on the south side of the City of Perham.
Vernon Tabbut - Approved as modified.
Vernon Tabbut, Fergus Falls, MN, requested a variance of 55’ from the required lot line setback of 65’ for the
placement of a water oriented accessory structure 10’ from the west lot line and 65’ from the east lot line. The
property is described as Lot 10, Morrill Addition, Long Lake in Elizabeth Township. The audience was polled
with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by
Mark Steuart, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve the placement of a water
oriented accessory structure 20’ from the ordinary high water level and centered on the lot. Hardship is a
substandard lot of record.

condition no part of the proposed development (addition) can be placed within the shore impact zone. The
ground level addition must be to the rear of the existing structure and any second story addition must be
outside of the shore impact zone. Hardship is a substandard cluster development.

back side of the dwelling. The property is described as the West 30’ of Lot 5 and all of Lot 6, Franklin Knoll,
