The Board of Adjustment considered the following applications for variance: Joseph R. Morgan — Approved the variance application as requested with a condition. (6:32 p.m.) Joseph R Morgan, part of Government Lot 2 and all of Government Lot 3, Section 1 of Sverdrup Township by East Lost Lake, requested a variance to subdivide a 4.18 acre parcel from an existing 43.3 acre parcel. The minimum size required for a metes and bounds parcel in the shoreland area is 5 acres. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to subdivide a 4.18 acre tract from an existing 43.3 acre parcel with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided at the time of conveyance. The Board noted that the tract is separated from the balance of the applicant’s parcel because the location of County Highway Number 1 separates the proposed 4.18 acre tract from the balance of the applicant’s parcel. Hardship is the terrain and the location of the road. Sterling and Patricia Tucker - Tabled. (6:38 p.m.) Sterling and Patricia Tucker, Lot 15 Silver View Park, Silver Lake in Everts Township, requested a variance of 30’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a 12’ by 26’ garage 70’ from the ordinary high water level. Hilary Barry appeared at the public hearing with Patricia Tucker. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Randall Mann made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to table, with the applicant’s verbal permission, this variance hearing until the July 6, 2006 meeting of the Board of Adjustment to provide the applicants with an opportunity to reconsider the location of the proposed garage. The Board noted that the proposed location is less than 10’ from the side lot line. ydames and Rose Limmer - Approved the variance application as requested.
