It was noted that the hill is steep on both sides and placing the proposed structure 20’ from the top of the bluff will allow the runoff from the proposed structure to drain away from the lake. The 20’ setback will also help to prevent any erosion towards the lake. Minnesota 1 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT March 26,1998 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, March 26, 1998, with the following persons in attendance; Craig Anderson Les Estes John Everts Cecil Femling Randall Mann George Walter Kyle Westergard, Land and Resource Management David, Hauser, County Attorney Michelle Eldin, Assistant County Attorney Call to Order - Chairman George Walter called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Minutes Approved - Hearing no corrections or additions the minutes of the January 8, 1998, meeting were approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: Frederick K. and Susan H. Sailer - Approved Frederick K. and Susan H. Sailer, Perham, MN,'requested a variance of 30’ from the required 30’ top of bluff setback and a variance of 110’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the placement of a 12’ by 16’ utility shed 0’ from the top of bluff and 90’ from the aquatic vegetation (ordinary high water level);: The property is described as a 28.64-acre tract in Government Lot 1, ■ Section 3 of Perham Township by Mud Lake. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 10’ from the required 30’ top of bluff setback and a variance of 90’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the placement of a 12’ by 16’ utility shed 20’ from the top of bluff and'110’ from the aquatic vegetation (ordinary high water level).
