Chairman Walter declared the meeting open at 7:00 p.m lowing members present: George Walter, Chairman Craig Anderson John Everts Roger Marty June lyan Marcus Wiechmann all to order All present with the fol-• f Hearing no additions or corrections to the minutes of the Septen±«r 5th meeting. Chairman Walter declared saine approved as mailed. The following applications for variance were considered: Roland E. Viger, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to enlarge deck by 2' x 20' and enclose area under existing deck, on Lot 15, Cedar Park Club, Dane Prairie Township. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to allow enclosure of 8', x 40' under existing deck, apply­ ing the "string test", no adecjuate hardship shown for additional con­ struction. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unani­ mously. Motion was then made by Roger Marty to allow Mr. Viger to build up to the point applying the "string test" with the addition. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to deny request, perpetuating a substandard situation by allowing a new structure, no adequate hardship shown. After con­ sideration, motion was made by Craig Ainderson to approve on the condition the division is equal, hardship being able to enjcy the same rights and privileges as neighbors enjcy, said division of lots to be larger than others in the neighborhood, would not establish a precedence, and no further variances to be granted on property.
