Contract before October 15, we will consider it as a lot ^of record prior to the enactment of the ordinance. There-*fore, we will be able to issue a variance for building 150 feet back from the shoreline.

Dear Mr. toyce:
Ne received your letter of September 14th requesting infoxmation on the proposed building
on the southwest end of Horsehead Lake.
According to the shoreland ordinance, it appears that Horsehead Lake is a natural environ
ment lake and as such the requirements call for a 200 foot set back from the shoreline
to the building site.
I have referred your letter to Mr. Malcolm Lee who is the Shoreland Administrator. He
no doubt, will be replying very soon, for he, more than I, does have the answers invol-
ving variances, beginning dates of the ordinance, etc..
