Hotion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Fealing and unaniaously carried, to
approve a variance of 6' froa the required holding tank setback of 10' for the placeaent of
a holding tank 4' froa an existing storage shed. Hardship being a very narrow lot of
record. It was noted that the holding tank is a considerable distance froa the dwelling
and that the well is located in coapliance with the ordinance.

Daniel Charles Biewer - Approved
Daniel Charles Biexer, Wahpeton, KD, requested a variance of 25’ from the required
ordinary high water level setback of 100' for the construction of a cabin 75' from the
ordinary high water level. The property is described as Lot 11, Block 1, Tradewell
Addition, East Lost Lake in Sverdrup Township. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the request. A letter from Ron and Judi Pedersen in favor of the
variance request was read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 25'
from the required ordinary hig)i water level setback of 100’ for the construction of a
dwelling 75’ from the ordinary high water level. Hardship being the location of the road
to the North and the severity of the incline.
William A. Schlossman - Approved
William A. Schlossman, Fargo, ND, requested a variance of 2' from the required side lot
line setback of 10’, a variance of 41’ from the required ordinary high water level setback
of 75’ and a variance of 3.5’ from the required shore impact zone setback of 37.5' for a
second story addition to an existing cabin S’ from the side lot line and 34’ from the
ordinary high water level. The addition will extend 3’ further north at the rear of the
structure. The property is described as Lot 23, Pelican Lake Park, Pelican Lake in Dunn
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After
consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously
carried, to approve the variance as requested with the condition that the second story
addition can be no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing structure.
Hardship being a substandard lot of record and the terrain features of the applicant’s
property.

Kenneth Bentley, Hew York Kills, KK, requested a variance of &’ from the required holding
tank setback of 10’ for the placement of a holding tank 4’ from an existing storage shed.
The property is described as Lot 25, Oak Point Park, Rush Lake in Otto Township. The
audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration,
motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to
approve a variance of 6’ from the required holding tank setback of 10’ for the placement
of a holding tank 4’ from an existing storage shed. Hardship being a very narrow lot of
record. It was noted that the holding tank is a considerable distance from the dwelling
and that the well is located in compliance with the ordinance.
