Motion: A motion by Estes, second by Zimmerman to deny the request, reasons being :
1. The land is not conducive to a development of this nature. 2. The potential for
negative environmental impact. 3. Placing restricting on lake access may not be
enforceable. 4. The significant erosion potential in the construction of the road .
Voting: All members in favor.
Chad A Krause -Approved With A Condition:
A Conditional Use Permit Application to construct a driveway (~ 280 yds of dirt) and
operate a custom deck building business out of a proposed 48' x 80' shop. Starting date
of business would be 2004 -2005. For details see Application, on file at Land &
.Resource Management. The property is described as Part of Gov Lot 1 (6.7 Ac), Section
30 of Otto Township; Rush Lake (56-141), GD .

Otter Tail County Highway Dept. I Willow Creek Project -Approved As Requested:
A Conditional Use Permit Application to replace a deficient bridge No. L0904 (new No.
56J14) on CSAH No. 50 & Willow Creek between Section 35 & 26-T134N-R38W. Project
S.A.P. 56-650-06. Bridge to be replaced with 2 lines of 8 t. x 7 ft. precast box culvert.
Approximately 500 feet of road grading is associated with the project. The project is
located on the crossing of CSAH No. 50 & Willow Creek, between Section 35 & 26, Leaf
Lake Township; Willow Creek (56-WC), Tr.
Rick West represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Boyer to approve as requested, Permit will
expire September 1, 2001.
