Donald F. Rylance, Fargo, ND, requested permission to add screened porch on lake front
38' from lake on No. 50' of S.L. 4 of G.L. 4, Section 27, Lida Township, After con- ^
sideration, motion was made by John Everts to allow an addition. or a screened porch
up to a line drawn from the cabin on eitha'side at the point closest to lake. The
motion was seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried.
Russell Matchinsky. Elk River, MN, requested permission to finish construction of a
boathouse on G.L. 8, Section 8, Sverdrup Township, four feet above high water mark,
in an area that, was: excavated prior-to establishment of ordinance, to replace a
boathouse that was 60 to 70 feet closer to shoreline before water level of Lake Ann
rose approximately five feet, because the county ditch is not draining properly.
After consideration, motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts: and
carried to deny for failure to show hardship.
Weldon W. Jackson, Ottertail , MN, requested permission to convey a parcel of land
less than 2^, acres, approximately 700’ xlOO' lot with a ten foot-access to la-ke,' In '
G.L. 1, Section 30, Otto Township, surveyor's drawing to be provided. AFter con
sideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walter and carried,
to approve, subject to submission of surveyor's drawing of a 700' x 100' parcel with
a 10' access to lake adjacent to lot called Lot 1, Anderson Survey Lots.
LuVern M. Hahn, Madelia, MN, returned from the September meeting after having been
given a 2' variance to construct building on Lot 1, Dahlke Add'n, Star Lake Township,
stating the 2' variance was not adequate. After additional consideration, motion .
was made by George Walter, seconded by Tom Stringer and carried, to approve a 6'
variance, 4' from property line, hardship being best location for existing garage
f *that has to be moved off .road right-of-way. - ;
The Haddon Murdock and Clifton Weller requests tabled from the Septem
ber meeting were again tabled for lack of appearance.
With no further business, at 11:25 p.m.. Chairman Walter adjourned
the meeting.
