EXPLAIN YOUR REQUEST:
Explain Your Request:
I would like to level the elevation of the lot to remove the ridges and ditches left by two old
roads that at one time passed through the lot from east to west. I will also level a bulldozed hill
on the west side of the lot that the previous owner created. I would like to level the hill and the
old road contoure by the lake this fall if possible. The low area toward the south end of the lot
would be filled in over the next one to five years.
The attached grid plot shows the approximate locations of the ridges to be leveled and the
ditches and tow areas to be filled. The hill volume is approximately the amount of fill needed to
level the old road by the lake(150 cu ft). Thir^lO cu ft ridge will be used to fill the old ditchflSO
cu ft) and a small part of the low area. Approximately 600 cu ft. of new fill would be needed to
add approximately 2 ft to the low area and blend to the ridges to the north and south. 3 "to 6"of
top soil will be spread as needed for grass, etc.. I have stakes in the lot at each of the + or -
elevations on the grid plot for reference. I would also like to add rock or concrete erosion
bearers similar the neighbors to the lake shore line as needed in the next 1 to S year.___________

information about surrounding property, etc. APPLICANT SHALL BE PRESENT AT THE SCHEDULED HEARING.

The Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners convened Tuesday, October 11, 1994, at
1:00 p.m. at the Otter Tail County Courthouse with Commissioners Harley Windels,
Chairman; Bill Stone, Virginia Portmann, Malcolm Lee, and Andy Lindquist present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES

PUBLIC HEARING: PROPOSED COUNTY ORDINANCE
TO RESTRICT CONDUCT ON PREMISES LICENSED FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Wally Senyk, County Attorney, outlined details of a proposed county ordinance to
restrict conduct on premises licensed for alcoholic beverages. He stressed such an
ordinance would apply only to premises licensed by the county to serve alcoholic
beverages. The Chairman asked for, but did not receive, public comment. He also noted
no written comment had been received on the matter.
A motion was offered by Portniemn, seconded Lindquist and unanimously carried to enact
the Otter Tail County Ordinance Restricting Conduct Upon Premises Licensed for Alcoholic
Beverages.

Wally Senyk discussed with the Commission the "Greenwood Lake
Aire Villas" and the parcel purchased for their buffer
requirement; and also that he has received correspondence
regarding County Ditch 23. No formal action was taken on these
matters.
Discussion;
Chairman, Carl Johnson declared the meeting to be adjourned at 11:05, the
next regular meeting is scheduled for November 2, 1994.
