After' listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by David
Trites, seconded by Craig Andei'son and carried, to approve said request, provided.
however, that lie is no closer to the lake than his neighbors on either side, hai^d-
ship being the best possible location on lot.
Owen Thom.pson, Pelican Rapids, MM, tabled from the April 2nd meeting, requested
permission to place cabins, one on each of five lots on metes and bounds tracts
in S.L. 8 of Sub div. of G.L. 1, 2, 3 6 4 in Section 14, Clitherall Township,
Clitherall Lake.After discussion, motion was made by David Trites, seconded
by John Everts and carried, to approve the application for variance with a 65'
set back from highwater mark on lots 3,4, 5 and 6.
Melvin Zierke, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to put a steel storage
buiJding 25' from high water mar'k, on Lot 6, 2nd Add'n to Historic Monument Beach,
J’rairie Lake, Pelican Township.After discussion, motion was made by Tom Stringer,
Ge'ccnided by David Trites and. carried, to deny, no hardship shown.

Feel if we could be 25' closer so actually 75' from shoreline give or take a few
feet, we could see the beach area better. Also this would be more imiform to our
neighbor cabin tb the north of us & trailer on hill. The lot to the south of us
has a not got as much slope to the shore line as we do, VVe have discussed this with
Mr. Schultz and he could see why we would like to be closer.

Dear Mr. Brua:

According to your letter, you still plan to use the bath
room facilities in the travel trailer which wouldn’t bo
allowed if the trailer ia to remain on your lot as a storage
building.
The application for your building permit for the garage has
a note on it which states that your garage may be used for
living purposes which also isn't allowed by the Shoreland
Management Ordinance since only 1 building for living pur
poses is allowed under the provisions of the Ordinance.
If these statements are correct, then you are going to have
to apply for a variance to the Board Of Adjustment which
meets the third Thursday of each month. Should you decide
to apply for a variance, your application must be in our
office no later than 17 days before the meeting you wish
to attend.

Dear Mrs. Brua,
A building permit for an additional trailer on your lot
can’t be issued at the present time since under the pre
visions of the Shoreland Management Ordinance only one
dwelling unit per lot is allowed.
You may, however, apply for a variance to the Board of
Adjustment which meets the 3rd Thursday of every month.
If you should apply for a variance the application for
a variance must be in our office no later than 1? days
before the meeting you wish to attend since the property
owners within 500 feet of your lot must be notified of
your intentions.
If you have any questions regarding this matter please
contact our office.
