John L, Bleichnen and Dennis W. Happel, Perham, MN, requested a variance to separate a 2,03
acre parcel from a larger tract of land. The building located on the 2.03 acre parcel was added
to the original building and Is separated from the original building by a party wall. The portion
of the building located on the 2.03 acre parcel houses a business different from the original
building. Also, requesting a variance to separate an additional parcel of less than 2.5 acres from
the original larger tract. This parcel Is located on the northwest side of the original tract
between the 2,03 acre parcel and County State Aid Highway No. 80. The parcel Is described as a
tract in the Southwest Quarter of Section 10 of Perham Township. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried to approve the variance as
requested with the condition that a registered surveyor's drawing be provided and that at least a
33' access to the public road for the 2.03 acre parcel be provided by some means other than by
an easement across the parcel located between the 2.03 acre parcel and County State Aid
Highway No, 80.
NEIL ROBERT WOTHE - APPROVED

structure that would be 36' from the ordinary high water level. The required setback Is 100',
The addition will be no closer to the lake than the existing structure. The property Is described
as Lot 8 of Delaney's Beach, Big McDonald Lake in Dora Township. The audience was polled with
no one speaking for or against the request. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unanimously carried, to approve a 64' variance from
the required ordinary high water level setback of 1 00' and to approve a variance from the shore
impact zone for the construction oCan addition to an existing structure which will be no closer
to the lake than the existing structure and no precedent Is being established by the granting of
tnis variance.
ARTHUR L. CAROW - APPROVED
Arthur L. Carow, Perham, MN, requested a variance to split a parcel of less than 2.5 acres from
a larger tract of land. The property Is described as part of Government Lot 3 and 4, Section 3
and Part of Lot 2, First Addition to Plainview Sandy Beach, Little McDonald Lake in Edna
Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. After
consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously
carried, to approve the request as presented and It should be noted that the drawing as revised on
August 13th, 1988 meets platting requirements except the hard copies and formality of being
presented before the Planning Commission,
