Ultimately, we are requesting the lot to be declared buildable for residential purposes. We would like to add on but are unable to get back to the 75’ setback requirement. Request to be 47’ from lake. Also, the existing impervious surface is greater than the allowable 25% and oui' proposed is slightly less impervious than the existing situation. Existing impervious surface is 27.64%. Proposed impeiwious surface is 27.61%. The audience was polled with Marvin Rapp speaking in support of the variances as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, seconded by DaiTen Newville and unanimously cairied, to approve the pioposed development as depicted on the drawing dated July 19, 2018, which will place the proposed addition 47’ from the ordinary high-water level with the condition that no more than 25% of the total eligible lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces. It was noted that the proposed addition is furihei' back than the existing structure and that there are options available that will keep the impeiwious surface coverage in compliance vvith the requirement of the ordinance. Rick and Carol Frovaip, Lot 16 Silent Point, West Silent Lake in Dora Township, requested a 62’ variance for setback of structure from the ordinary high-water mark. Required is 100’; a 15’ variance for the road right-of-way and a 5’ variance for the lot line setback. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, and vvith the applicants’ verbal permission, Darren Newville made a motion, seconded by Thomas Lee and unanimously carried, to table this public hearing until the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Adjustment so that the applicants can submitted a revised request.
