Board of Adjustment - 4 -June 2, 1983
Verle Martin. Ashby, MN, requested permission to record a document containing a parcel
of one acre rather than the required 2?^ acres, in Section 19, Eagle Lake Township.
AFter discussion, motidn^was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by George Walterand
carried with Frank Lachowitzer and John Everts voting "no", to grant approval.
I Cecil Femling, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to place a 10* x 50' mobile
home 85' from ordinary high water mark and a 4' variance from road right-of-way re
quirements, on Lot 16, Silent Point, Dora Township. AFter discussion, motion was made
by George Walter, seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and carried, to grant approval, hard
ship being best place on a substandard piece of property.
Melvin Kirchof, Vining, MN, requested permission to divide a 2.51 acre parcel in G.L.
5, Section 17, Leaf Lake Township into two separate lots without platting. AFter dis
cussion, motion was made by George Walter to table for more information. The motion
was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried.
H. R. Me land. Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to build a 10' x 12' deck with
roof, adjoining cabin, on Lot 6, Sunset Beach, punn Township, 35' from ordinary high
water mark. Motion was made by Frank Lachowitzer, seconded by Craig Anderson and
carried, to table for lack of representation.
Wesley L. Barta, Burnsville, MN, requested permission to build a 14' x 24' screen
porch, approximately 45' from the ordinary high water mark, on Lot 8, Sunset Beach,
Dunn Township. Motion was made by Tom Stringer, seconded by Frank Lachowitzer and
carried, to table for lack of information.
Vernon Stenerson, Rothsay, MN, tabled from earlier in the meeting, was, upon motion
made by Tom Stringer, seconded by John Everts and carried, tabled.
With no further business, the Chairman adjourned the meeting at 10i50
p.m.
