After additional consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried, to deny the I ’ variance from the required septic tank setback of 1 O'. The Board of Adjustment has not varied from the health standards for dwellings and it appears that other alternatives do exist. Hardship being a substandard lot of record. Minnesota MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT September 3rd, 1992 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, September 3rd, 1992 with the following persons in attendance: Craig Anderson John Everts Cecil Femling Dan Oehler Berton Olson GeoVge Walter Tim Griep, Land and Resource Management Pat Eckert, Land and Resource Management Kurt Mortenson, Assistant County Attorney CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman George Walter, MINUTES APPROVED-August 13th, 1992 Hearing no corrections or additions the minutes of the August 13th, 1992 meeting were declared approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: James R. Jaeger - Approved James R, Jaeger, Dent, MN, requested a variance of 2' from the required side lot line setback of 10', a variance of 1' from the required septic tank setback of 10', a variance of 57' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' and a variance of 7' from the required shore Impact zone setback of 50'. The property is described as Lot 8, Jaeger Beach, W. Silent Lake in Dora Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. A letter from Clement Rush in favor of the applicant's request was read for the record. After consideration notion was made by John E\«rts to allow a water orientated structure of no more than 250 square feet. The motion was withdrawn. Motion was then nede by John E^«rts, seconded by George Walter and carried, with Carl Johnson voting "no", Victor Petterson abstaining, to deny, no adequate heurdship shown. After oonsideration, motion was made ly Carl Johnson, seconded by Victor Petterson and manimously carried, to approve a 6' varieinoe, to build 14' frxm road right-of-way, head­ ship being a substandard lot of record, meeting the string test fron the lake. Because no one appeared to represent the applicant, motion was made by Victor Pettersen, seconded by John Evrerts and unanimously carried, to table until the August meeting. With no further business.
