Motion
Leonard W. Becker - Denied
Motion was made by Frank Lachowitzer, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as
requested for the construction of the proposed gazebo as the granting of the variance would establish a precedence,
would place the structure in the shore impact zone and would be closer to the lake then the existing dwelling, which is
already within the shore impact zone. After additional discussion and consideration, motion was made by David
Holmgren, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested for the construction
of a 26’ by 40’ storage building noting that no adequate hardship unique to the property had been shown which would
allow for a height greater than 20’ and a reasonable use can be obtained without the granting of the variance as
requested.
