At the request of Weum, motion was made by Carl Johnson to table until the July meeting. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. Olaf Draxten, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct a dwelling 125 feet from ordinary high water mark, in part of G.L. 7, Section 22, Dane Prairie Township, on Indian Lake, No. 56-639. After consideration, motion was made by George Walter to table for further information. Motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unani mously. Harlan Bendickson, Dent, MN, requested permission to increase the resort size to 40 units, at Seclusion Point Resort, located in G.L. 7, Section 29, Edna Township, on Big McDonald Lake, No. 56-386, AFter listening to the various interested parties, motion was made by Craig Anderson to table until the August meeting. The motion was seconded by Dan Oehler and carried unanimously. Dorothy Smith, Dent, MN, requested permission to construct a porch onto existing mobile home-frame combination, in G.L. 3, Section 34, Star Lake Township, on Dead Lake, #56-383, three feet from lot line, 148' from lake. Craig Anderson to grant a variance, using the "string test" using the two green cottages and the trailer house on the other side, with the side lot line already established by the main portion of the house; hardship being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges- as the neighbors enjoy. The motion was seconded by Carl Johnson and carried unanimously. Weldon McIntosh, Pelican Rapids, MN, requests permission to construct addition approximately 60' from lake, on Lot 2, Outlet Beach, Lida Township, on Lake Lida, #56-747. With McIntosh was Herb Borg from the Lida Town Board. AFter consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson to grant variance, hardship being able to enjoy the same rights and privileges as the neighbors enjoy, with the addition being farther from the lake than the existing cottage. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unanimously. Bert Overland, Jr., Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to allow two campers to remain on Lot 2, Otter Tail Lakeview Heights, on Otter Tail Lake, #56-242, Otter Tail Township. After consideration, motion was made by David Trites to deny the request for the second dwelling on the lot, no hardship established. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. George Markgraff, South Saint Paul, MN, requests permission to build home 150' from lake, on an irregularly shaped piece of property located in G.L. 1, Section 26, Dora Township, on Elbow Lake, #56-514. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, no closer to lake than 150', and abiding by all other set backs for this property, hardship being a ravine which would create several erosion problems if placed where permitted or where earth moving is required. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. With no further business Chairman Walter adjourned the meeting at 9:37 p.m..
