Motion by Froemming, second by Nelson, and unanimously carried to approve a Conditional
Use Permit to remodel a cabin and add a deck as presented. The property is described as

Conditional Use Permit - Rovces Resort/ Richard & Priscilla Steaman:
Motion by Nelson, second by Froemming, and unanimously carried approve a Conditional
Use Permit to reclassify a resort to a condo status with conditions as recommended by the

Permit to rebuild a road with conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission. The

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION REQUEST (as stated by the Applicant): The
purpose of our project is to provide a safe series of steps and landings down to the lake.
VVe want to replace the old steep wood steps and landings with a permanent series of
stepis. By terracing the hillside we will cut down the amount of storm vyater runoff to the lake
and reduce erosion to the hillside and beach. After the project is complete we will plant
native plantings in the terraced planting beds arid improve the look of the shoreline. Approx
30 yds of topsoil will be needed to provide good soil for the planting beds. We would like to
start this project end of Sept, early Oct. to be finished Nov. 1®‘. We feel with proper sodding
and erosion control in place we should not hayri any problems with the spring .thaw/rain.
