David Chase repres-^ted by Wm. Parks and Joe Paulson, of Perham, MN,
requested p mission to convey three parcels of land by metes and
bounds description without platting, in G.L. 3 & 4, Section 5, Rush
Lake Township, on Marion Lake. After consideration, motion was made
by George Walter to approve, subject to documentation shown that
portion depicted as Lot D be combined with the Chase property adja
cent, and remain forever combined, and that parcel depicted as Lot
A be attached to the Neuschwander property and remain forever attached,
and a surveyor's drawing be submitted. The motion was seconded by
John Everts and carried upon the following vote:

Arlin Johnson and Elma Matson, represented by Arlin Johnson, Pelican
Rapids, MN, requested permission to split parcel known as Lot 5,
in G.L. 3, Section 28, Lida Township, on Lake Lida, into two parcels
one with 20,400 square feet and the other with 30,000 square feet.
After consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson to grant variance
with the understanding the cartway is accessible and a surveyor's
drawing is presented. The motion was seconded by Robert Schwartz
and carried upon the following vote:

Dennis Beyer, Fredericksburg, lA, represented by Vern Huckey in re
sponse to a denial rendered at the October meeting, requesting re
consideration of a request to allow a storage shed to remain as lo
cated on Lot 20, Block 2, Echo Ranch Riviera, Long Lake in Otter Tail
Township. After consideration, motion was made by Robert Schwartz
to confirm the denial of the previous meeting and request removal of
such storage shed be accomplished by June 1, 1988. The motion was
seconded by John Everts and carried upon the following vote:

The Connie Jo Dirks application, tabled from the September and Octo
ber meetings was again tabled upon motion made by John Everts, secondec
by Dan Oehler and unanimously carried.
The Diane & Richard L. Nelson application, tabled from the August,
September and October meetings was denied upon motion made by John
Everts, seconded by Robert Schwartz and unanimously carried.
With no further business Chairman Walter declared the meeting adjournet

Township, on Bid McDonald Lake, 57* from lake. After consideration,
motion was made by John Ever.ts to deny, no adequate hardship shown,
with a buildable site at 100', to grant variance would be setting a
precedence. The motion was seconded by Robert Schwartz and carried
upon the following vote;

Connie Jo Dirks, tabled from the September meeting was again tabled
upon motion made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and unani
mously carried.

Curtis Nyman, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct addit
ion to home 6'8" from septic tank, in G.L. 2, Section 29, Dane Prairie
Township on Swan Lake. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts to deny, no adequate hardship shown, with no reason to compromise
the state health code. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and
carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.
Michael R. Olthoff, Wolverton, MN, requested permission to allow a mobile
home to remain as presently located 67' from lake on Parcel D of G.L. 1,
Section 33, Lida Township on Lake Lida. Speaking was Ken Soveregn, with
a letter or petition from Ohman’s Beach Association.being read, whereupon
Mr. Olthoff withdrew his application.
The Dennis Beyer request, tabled from the July 2nd and August 6th
meetings, was brought before the Board with Vince Herman representing
Mr. Beyer. Motion was made by Craig Anderson to table. The motion
was seconded by Robert Schwartz and carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.
Joanna Bope request, tabled from the August 6th meeting was returned
for consideration. Motion was made by Craig Anderson to allow the
combining of that portion of Lot 7 lying south of CSAH #1 to Lot 9,
Amended and Enlarged Camp Nidaros, Section 12, Amor Township, on Otter
Tail Lake, increasing the size of Lot 9 for a more buildable lot, and
retaining a building site on Lot 7 lying north of CSAH #1, provided
no other variances are requested or required. The motion was seconded
by Robert Schwartz and carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.
Glenn Rogness, Fergus Falls, MN, request approved at the July 2nd meeting
was returned for additional consideration. Motion was made by Marcus
Wiechmann to grant a six month extension. The motion was seconded by
John Everts and carried upon the following vote:

Jerry Steiner, Rothsay, MN, requested permission to re-locate
existing structure to a new location three feet off property line,
on Part of G.L. 1, Section 20, Lida Township on Lake Lida. Sfieaking
were Mrs. Robert Fischer and James Erickson. After consideration,
motion was made by Craig Anderson to grant a three foot variance, to
7' from property line, hardship being the uniqueness of the open
ditch running through the property. The motion was seconded by
Marcus Wiechmann and carried upon the following vote:

A. I. Kaiser, Underwood, MN, represented by Mary Mahoney, requested
permission to split a parcel of 40,000 square feet, with 150' lake
frontage, from the SW>aSE% and Lot 3 & EJjSW'i, Section 14, Maine Town
ship on Pickeral Lake. After consideration, motion was made by Craig
Anderson to allow the transfer and recording of a parcel of no less
than 40,000 square feet, with two other parcels of no less than 2H
acres, provided a surveyor's drawing is submitted. The motion was
seconded by Marcus Weichmann and carried upon the following vote:

Thomas G. Aldrich, Minneapolis, MN, requested permission to raze a
portion of existing structure and rebuild with a six foot side lot
setback on either side on Lot 4, Claremont Beach, Everts Township on
Otter Tail Lake. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts
to allow variance on south line, to continue straight from existing
cottage, 4' from lot 5 lot line and maintain a 10' variance on north,
with no variance on the north lot line. The motion was seconded by
Craig Anderson and carried upon the following vote:

Tod Neubauer, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to place a
storage shed on the foundation of an old smoke house that has been
removed on the Nh of Lot 5 and all of Lot 6, Anderson Beach, on Wall

by John Everts to deny, no adequate hardship shown. The motion was

While in the Echo Ranch Riviera area of Long Lake, I noticed what appeared
to be a newly constructed storage shed which is apparently on your property.
Upon reviewing our records, I could not locate a site permit for this
structure.
this storage shed was constructed on or before June 10, 1987 so that this
