Johnson Wm. Kalar, Land A Resource Management Wally Senyk, Assistant County Attorney Chairman Walter called the meeting to order at 7i00 p.m., and hearing no objections or corrections to the minutes of the May 5th meeting, declared same approved as mailed. The following applications for variance were heard; John A. Reichmuth, Fergus Falls, f*N, requested permission to build a 10' X 28' three season porch on lakeside of cabin, 47' from Otter Tail Lake, in Lot 2, Section 1, Everts Township, Lake No. 56-242. After consideration, motion was made by David Trites to deny, no hardship shown, with other alternatives on an already substandard situation. The motion was seconded by George Walter and carried, with John Everts abstaining. CALL TO ORDER MINUTES APPROVED JOHN A. REICHMUTH DENIED Warren Larson, Vernas, MN, Delman Steven, applicant and contractor, requested permission to construct home 135 feet from ordinary high water mark in G.L. 2 8 3, Section 14, Candor Township, on Medicine Lake, No. 56-541, After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, no hardship shown, with other alternatives on this property. The motion was seconded by David Trites and carried unanimously. Alan C. Harder, Minneapolis, MN, requested permission to construct a gazebo on Pt. G.l. 1, Section 6, Everts Township, approximately 50 feet from Peer Lake, No. 66-298. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, to grant permission to advance towards the lake no further than a string test line drawn between the points of the neighbors' cottages closest to the lake, on either side of the Harder cottage, main cottage, not deck of cottage. The motion was seconded by David Trites and carried unanimously. Dennis Beyer, Fredricksburg, lA, represented by Merle Lange, requested permission to allow a structure to remain at 50' from lake, on Lot 20, Block 2, Echo Ranch Riviera, Long Lake, No. 56-210, in Otter Tail Township. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve, hardship being a double ice ridge and a substandard lot o^ record with no other location available. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried unanimously. Richard Luther, Murdock, NE, requested permission to allow a 6' x 8' storage shed to remain as presently located 46' from Dead Lake, No. 56-383, on Lot 20, Block 1, Rrightwood Shore Line, Star Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to bring the building back to the building line, established by utilizing the "string test", no closer to lake than a line drawn between the neighbor's building or trailer house, allowing until Labor Day, 1988, to relocate.
