Motion
March 26,1998 - After consideration, motion was by Cecil Femling, to allow the applicants to withdraw
their request. No action was taken on this motion and after additional discussion and consideration the
following motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to
table this request until the April 2, 1998 meeting so that the applicants would have an opportunity to
consider other alternatives. April 2,1998 - The audience was polled with no one speaking for or
against the request. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by John Everts
and carried with Leona Zimmerman abstaining and with Cecil Femling voting no, to approve the
proposed additions noting that the 26’ by 34’ garage will be 30’ from the top of the bluff and with the
following conditions: 1) that drainage from the proposed structures will be directed away from the lake
towards the road side of the lot, 2) that Lots 12 and 13 will remain a combined lot forever, and 3) that
methods meeting the approval of the Land and Resource Department will be undertaken to stabilize the
area of excavation so that erosion will be minimized during the period of construction.
