The variance is required since the existing deck is only a the lot line on the south side of the property. There is a great distance to the next cabin to the south (Ellingson's) and it measures 65 . There are some 10 trees in the line of sight from the El1ingson_cabin to this proposed screened porch! With the large amount of screening we will be using I don't feel this would obstruct the view of any of the adjoin­ ing cabins even though our cabin does sit closer to the lake than many of the neighbors! .Since we know of the many summer Minn, pests we feel this addition to the deck is most essential to the enjoyment of the summer cabin!!!
